Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: How do I book a consultation with you?
A: You can book directly through my online scheduler — pick a time, show up, and we’ll take it from there. No pressure, no awkward sales pitch. Just a proper assessment and a clear plan.

Q: Do I need to be fit before starting personal training?
A: No. That’s literally why you come to me. Whether you’re a complete beginner or you’ve trained before but got stuck, I build everything around where you are right now.

Q: I’m nervous about going to the gym - is that normal?
A: Completely. And you won’t be thrown into the deep end. I’ll walk you through everything step by step so you always know exactly what you’re doing and why.

  • Q: What does working with you look like week-to-week?
A: You get structured sessions, a tailored programme for your specific goals and training needs, mobility and technique coaching, as well as a clear progression system. No guesswork. No cookie-cutter PDFs.

Q: How long are your sessions?
A: Typically 45-60 minutes - this gives us enough time to get quality work in while also leaving you plenty of time for other commitments.

Q: Do you offer online coaching?
A: Yes. Perfect for people who want expert guidance, accountability, and progression without in-person sessions. Delivered through TrueCoach with weekly check-ins with me.

Q: What’s included in the Starter Pack?
A: A 4-week programme, mobility screening, body composition scan, and a technique-focused session to set you up for success.

  • Q: How quickly will I see results?
A: Most clients feel better within 1–2 weeks, and start seeing visible changes at 4–6 weeks. We typically see substantial transformations across 12–16 weeks. Consistency is the magic that brings about lasting change.

Q: Do I need to track my macros?
A: Not always. But some degree of nutrition structure helps your results actually show. I’ll guide you based on your goals and lifestyle.

    Q: Will I lose weight/gain muscle?
A: Yes - if you do the work. I’ll give you the plan, the coaching, and the accountability. You bring the willingness to follow it.

  • Q: How much does personal training cost?
A: My sessions typically start at £80, with discounted rates for blocks and longer-term packages. Online coaching starts at £99/month. Regardless of your chosen training package, you will receive real structure, real results, and real coaching.

    Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: I run occasional introductory offers, but mostly the pricing reflects high-level coaching and limited availability. Be sure not to miss out on these!

Q: Can I switch between in-person and online coaching?
A: Yes, many clients often start in-person and later move online (or vice versa) depending on schedule and goals.

  • Q: Where do you train clients?
A: Gymbox Victoria, in Central London. It’s a well-equipped, high-energy environment — perfect for proper strength training.

Q: Do I need a Gymbox membership to train with you?
A: Yes, for ongoing in-person coaching. If you’re not a member and would like to train in-person with me, we can discuss arranging day passes at discounted rates to allow you access the facility without a gym membership, or alternatively my online coaching options.

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Comfortable gym clothes, water, and you! I’ll handle the rest.

  • Q: How do you deliver online programmes?
A: Through TrueCoach: this includes exercise demos, your weekly workouts laid out clearly, tracking tools, and weekly check-ins for added accountability and an opportunity to ask me any questions.

Q: What if I don’t know how to do the exercises?
A: Every exercise has a video demonstration and notes. Plus you can send me form clips for feedback through Onform.

  • Q: Do you write meal plans?
A: Not meal plans, but I will give you personalised nutrition targets and structure. No broccoli-and-dry-chicken nonsense. I’ve also got some exciting recipe and macro-friendly cookbook projects in the works that I hope to share with you soon!

Q: Can I still enjoy nights out or takeaways?
A: Yes. I coach real people with real lives. You don’t need to become a monk or swear off Deliveroo to make progress.
